Are you working fabulously enough?

Are you working fabulously enough?

The other day, I spent the day with a new client working in the lounge of a lovely hotel in the New Forest.

I could have invited her to spend the day at my home (which is where I usually work), and there’s nothing wrong with that other than I’d have had to worry about making coffees and lunch and worry about whether the loo had toilet paper in it etc

(Jeez - I’ve just realised I have quite a thing about toilet paper! I told clients at our recent event that if I’m in a public loo and I use the last piece of toilet paper, then I’ll make sure I find some from somewhere so the next person has some. I always imagine some old lady or little girl getting really upset when they can’t find any! I don’t spend my whole life thinking about loo roll, I promise!)

Anyway, where was I?

Oh yeah…

It was peaceful.

The staff were friendly.

The tea was nice.

I felt relaxed and ready to do a great day’s work because my environment suited me.

Do you ever feel as if you’d get more done if you worked away from your usual office/studio?

It could be worth thinking of other options - somewhere that’s more peaceful or inspiring and away from your usual distractions.

If you get the feeling you need this in your life, then give it a go!
