Digital Grandmadding

You’ve heard of digital nomads, right? People who can run their business from anywhere in the world from a laptop…

Well, Kev and I are going one step further this week and trying our first week at Digital Grandmadding, where we run our business whilst at the same time tag-teaming on looking after our newest grandchild, Joshua, whilst his daddies run their walking holidays in the beautiful Purbeck area in Dorset.

It’s only an hour or so from our home, but I think it counts as nomadding because we’re away from home - with Eddie the dog, too - doing part work and part enjoying our new surroundings with little Josh, who so far has been an absolute doddle to look after!

Eat.

Play.

Sleep.

Repeat.

When Kev and I first accepted the request to help with the walking holidays, long before Josh was born, we were braced for a lot more screaming and yelling, but thankfully Kev is staying really calm!

We even had a chance to go out for a lovely walk this morning:

As a little coaching point for the day, perhaps consider if you can break your routines and work somewhere different, or just do something in a slightly different way?

They often say a change is as good as a rest!
